I knew Nic to be a good man with a strong Catholic background and immense faith in Christ and his fellow man. He left his legacy as the patriarch of a large family. As a brother member of the Knights of Columbus, Nic participated in many of our charity fund raisers and helped back in the kitchen to prepare many meals that preceded our monthly business meetings. At St Louis Church, Nic was an usher at the 11:15 Sunday mass and would always wave Kathy and me to his open door to the sanctuary, welcoming us with a big smile and kind words. Over the intervening years since moving away from Maryland, Nic and I maintained a robust series of emails between us discussing charity, unity, friendship, and patriotism. I will miss those exchanges and his friendship. Larry Staudmeister, PGK St Louis the King Council #11898

I knew Nick through his loving wife and dear friend Willa. Willa, Catherine and I would always make our yearly venture up to Ohio where he would always have a smile on his face and a "Thank You" for me for bringing her safely home to him after the trip. I will truly miss seeing him and his smiling face. Willa, my prayers are with you and your family with the loss of your beloved husband, Nick.

Jim and I are so sorry for your loss. We had the pleasure of speaking to him at the Clarksville picnic for awhile and really enjoyed our talk. May you have many happy memories.
