Larry was the oldest of four children and came from a military family. He lived in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas and even Morocco during his childhood. One of Larry’s proudest childhood accomplishments was earning the honor of becoming an Eagle Scout. Larry attended Louisiana State University, graduated magna cum laude and was hand selected to work for the National Security Agency (NSA). During his NSA career, Larry earned several awards, including the prestigious Department of Defense Red Carnation Award. Larry’s illustrious management career in computer science at NSA spanned 35 years before he ‘retired.’ Larry then joined a government contractor working in the same field for another 10 years before officially retiring.

Since his retirement, Larry enjoyed traveling the country, especially the annual beach trips to Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head with his family. Larry and Faye had a full social calendar between their family and friends.
