Obituary: On December 16, 2012, Eunice Miller Carpenter, born April 21, 1915 in Spencer, West Virginia; beloved wife of the late Freddie J. Carpenter; the couple married on April 24, 1936; devoted mother of Frederick Allen and his wife Martha and their three children (Anderson, Indiana), Georganna Rammling and her husband Karl and their son (Ellicott City, MD) and Everett J. Carpenter and his wife Susan and their 2 children (Witchita, Kansas). Also survived by several great-grandchildren. Mrs. Carpenter was employed as a bookkeeper by the former Hecht Company.
