Obituary: Mrs. Clyde Ross, 87, of Columbia, Maryland died February 28, 2010. Mrs. Ross was interested and active in politics throughout her life and served as Register of Deeds for Harnett County, North Carolina for many years. She was an honorary Lifetime Member of the Presbyterian Women. Wife of the late Joe Hall Ross of Lillington, North Carolina, she is survived by a daughter, Linda Bell of Columbia, Maryland, three grandchildren, Scott Ross of Wilmington, North Carolina and Deanna Lintz and Eric Bell of Elkridge, Maryland and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Joe Hall Ross, Jr. She will be laid to rest at Summerville Presbyterian Church in Lillington, NC.
