Theresa Backof  Elsie and Paula Mom wanted me to send the family's condolences. She is still housebound and hooked to oxygen but wanted you to know that Lyla is in her heart and prayers this week. I have only such fond memories of her while growing up and those memories will stay with me the rest of my life.Mom said to tell you that she always appreciated the friendship and love of a "sister in law" who she considered a sister. We will keep you and your family in our prayers . Love Theresa Victor Backof and Mary Frances Victor.

Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Wright  Aunt Lyla, we have been blessed to have you part of our lives for the past 57 years. We have so many wonderful memories of you. We will miss you, but will meet again in heaven. We have another angel watching over us.

Matthew Victor  Lyla was a wonderful lady, patient, kind and thoughtful, and she was a super aunt to all of us Victors.

Suzanne Victor Winchester  Aunt Lyla was such a sweet and generous Southern lady. I remember when she had a sweet 16 party for me when we returned from England. She gave me a silver charm bracelet that I still have. I also remember how Fifi (her poodle) would run around and bark at us when we came to visit Aunt Lyla and Uncle Lee. The Victor children have many memories of Aunt Lyla and her gracious Southern ways. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Love Suzie Victor Winchester
